What they said was "We who are oblivious to history therefore care not for its increasingly certain condemnation of us."
I think it basically comes down to this, that despite all of Bush's lies and basic lack of character, most people still found him more believable and sincere than Kerry. The lock on the debates by Dems and Repubs would be a good starting point for election reform. I'm listening now, to this man (http://www.votenader.org/media_press/index.php?cid=398) and what he has to say. I joined the ACLU (http://www.aclu.org/about/aboutmain.cfm) because once upon a time (http://www.bobdylan.com/audio/albumtracks/WindowsMedia/56/rolling_highway.asx)......

Being believable and sincere had nothing to do with it,
Kerry just didn't thump the bible as loud as bush

I disagree; there has for a long time been a concentrated effort by the right to make "liberal" a synonym of "untrustworthy" and other such words (and to make Democrats appear liberal).

Which should be a lesson to the Democratic leadership, except they probably won't get it.
"Well, another election fucked up...let's do the same thing next time!"
Not that it matter though, the Dems are just half of our great one party - two faces system.

Bush did not lie, if he did he would have been impeached. (like Clintax)
I thought it was Clintock?

Funny how you call him Clintax when Bush is just as big a fan of taxes. Bu$h and Clintax. Clintax sounds like a videogame for nes along the lines of Rygar or Xenophobe. Those were better times I think.

Im still pissing my pants that my state West Virginia voted for Bush. When poverty here is definately more than most states, there's more elderly here than younger folks(so you would think they would vote kerry and not let bush fuck up social security like he's gonna start doing later today!).
My only reason i came up with why we voted bush (well not me) is not all the people went out and voted! Just most of the ignorant voters did.
People fall in an illusion listening to the media and bush's campaign and his smurk thats always on his fucking face
Does anyone not care about the # of jobs lost, social security being fucked up, foreign affairs (we sure as hell dont need anymore countries hating us), tuition going up, iraqi troop situation, and that's not even mentioned the GOD DAMN NATIONAL DEFICIT!
When the Bush administration was asked about most of the "FACTIONAL" statements and problems, they swerved them and only talked about things that they knew would appeal to us and the average ignorant voter!
GROW UP AMERICA!

Yes, Americans, grow up and become even less self sufficient. Because egocentricity is anti-social behavior.

"last night the peoples voice was heard, I will not imitate it due to my respect for the retarded"
Lewis Black on The Daily Show. Talking about a very obvious topic.
