(n) Millions. It was millions of evangelicals. All hoodwinked by this guy who presented himself as one of them. He's not one of them. President Bush's record, his political strategy, and his approach to the world all run contrary to a Christian testimony. And this is what really irks me the most about the Christian Right: they can see, with their own eyes, that little of Bush's actual record reflects their core values. Bush (actually, Karl Rove), however, brilliantly sold the president on three or four issues and had the president take up what seems to be a reasonable position on all three. Hammered the Democrats on "family values." And the Religious Right, hearing only these talking points, eagerly overlooked Bush's personal failings and the clear record of the worst president in modern history. It is entirely hypocritical for these people to run us over with their high horses while not holding Bush himself to their high standard. Bush could never be voted pastor of a church. Seriously, think about it. He'd never make it as pastor, but these people eagerly supported him for president.

We've all seen the type, heavy dopers/drunks who kick then subsitute excessive jesus for getting high. Now jesus has worn off and bush's only high is power.

Using the fundy born-again concept, he could kill the entire human race..then just before he dies, repent and accept Christ.
Then he get's ta go to Heaven!

I see a lot of vague rhetoric here, but not much of actual substance. Could you please explain the president's shortcomings?

Well, most evangelicals don't really seem all that Christian. They just like the whole end-time, fire and brimstone, armageddon thing. I think Georgey-boy really is that way. Trying to bring about the return of Jesus and all that shit. That's what frightens me.
