went to the madison show, first time actually sittin down and actually chillin in that city, actually...
the night of the madison show was my birthday, it was wonderful, everything was great. after the show, took off my pants and chilled in the hot tub, next morning went back down and got my pants still layin by the hot tub, wallet, ching, weed and glasspeice still in all pockets, thank you kind and beautiful party people in madison. had a wonderful lil burger on state street, meet some cool people, talked about the possible reallity of that one voodoo girl in new orleans and how you shouldnt fuck with her grave.
then me and cheese got back on I 90
got into chicago, no tickets, no hotel, saw a internet place, got a hotel lined up. called scrappy and said i wasnt gonna be able to make it down to blue island cuz it was gettin late, so they all meet us at the hotel, prepartied with good friends, then dudeman gave us a ride to the show, got our tickets which were second row next to the stage. the show started, it was quickly obvious i needed a little more dance space then provided in front of my hard plastic seat so i explained my dance space problem to the gargoyle gaurding the mecca of dance space, "the dancefloor", she smiled and nodded her head in understandment and vip'd me through the velvet ropes. so i worked my way through various dance moves i had been workin on to the beastie boys's songs, seein how they've been the same moves since 3rd grade, they were perfect!
As I keep it movin, we keep it movin uh
Keep it movin, and keep it movin uh
Keep it movin baby we be movin uh
Keep it movin, we keep it huh RHARHHH
What's that rhythm, what's that sound...
Party people getting down...
When it hit the baddest man
Just release, yo delf!!
then i joined a girl and boy on the playground next to the hopscotch chalk and we shared and took note of each others dance moves, we even roled as beastie boys and rapped to each other, then i kinda noticed the beastie boys on stage weren't quite right, i was right, next thing i know, the real ad rock popped up next to us on the playground and rapped to us, i couldnt fuckin beleive it, it was beautiful, but i didnt say shit, just smiled and giggled and enjoyed the moment, surreal.
since no one else knew, know one bothered us.
then next thing i knew, they popped up on this stage behind the soundboard and did intergalac, finished that song, lights still off, mca, ad rock and mike d came back to our circle of dancefloor love and showed us the moves we had been kinda slackin on, it was nice. then the show ended a little bit later...
called my other buddy after the show and we soft plush leather yukon escaladed to the john hancock building, elevated to the 92nd floor, overlookin lake michigan, the city of chicago, the world. we P Diddy'd it up with martini's, guiness's and fresh fruit and shrimp platters. then we went to some spanish bar and a bonita senoirita tought me some south of the border feet stomp moves till 4 in the morning.
thank you beastie boys for puttin me back in check with yourselves, it was nice to be back to what brought me into this world of body wobbles and noggin bobbin.
thank you once again
