Can we not edit our posts in sure shots?

The "edit" button does not come up when i am looking at my posts in sure shots, in other forums it does.

i think (lb) it was discussed by sum1 with full/full clout that once you post something on the wire, then it is out there forever.

You can edit your posts for five hours after they've been made. Then the edit button disappears.
