Ha! I remember when some of my friends were like, "Korn!" and "LImp!" and I was like, you guys will suck in 4 years and they thought I was the biggest idiot.
Well, hate to say I told you so.

Oh shit, I got a shout on this thread. I was just using the search function to see if there was another Slim Thug thread before I started one.
Anyway, when the album dropped, I thought twice about copping it. It's pretty aiiiight, though. I mean, he's still kinda average as a rapper, but he's better than like 90% of the rappers from the south. Not that that's like an impressive feat or anything. Anyway, It took me about 3 weeks to give this a proper listen, but it's kinda sizzling, beatwise; the Ain't Heard Of That remix, especially.

I mainly prefer the underground hip hop scene, but I'll admit that I'll listen to some of the mainstream rap in the car. Mostly because it hits hard I gots to be bumpin down the block. :p
I never buy their albums. Instead I just wait for my friend to burn me his latest disc because he downloads all that crap. The major problem with it is that after about 3 to 4 weeks I never listen to the disc again. It's all pretty disposible.
I like the newest 50 cent single for probably a week max and I can't stand to hear it again. His shit sounds good in the club when you're freaking some girl. Thats about it though.
Oh and I think Mike Jones 15 minutes are up. He has good beats though.
-edit-
Going back to the original post, I love Bun B, but I think he is getting way too overexposed now. I still bump the UGK cds. I hope Pimp C gets out of jail soon.

Does anyone else think Pharrell looks extremely foolish in the I Ain't Heard Of That video?
Because I sure do.
