I don't mean to say I told you so, but Wesley Clark could have easily won. Evangelical Christians turned out in record numbers, and since Wesley Clark used to attend three churches per Sunday and knew the Bible really well (Kerry knew it well too apparently), and since he wasn't so overzealous about abortion, Wesley Clark could have gotten a lot of their vote. Wesley Clark also wanted zero taxes for families with certain numbers of children and certain income (e.g. 2 children and $50,000 a year), and that would have appealed to conservatives as well.

Not only could he have easily won, but we could be on our way to pulling troops out of Iraq.

Yet, it sounds like he was a hardcore motherfucker. Meaning he would have gone if further with certain programs and acts than Bush. Fucking everyone over and continuing to piss on the constitution....

And about the troops, meh... They chose to join the army, they chose to go to Iraq, they chose to follow orders. Frankly they need to do something for themselves, just like "helping" the Iraqis isn't working, how is helping soldiers who believe they are doing the right thing any different.

Can you give me one example? He was against parts of the patriot act, and was mischaracterized as wanting to take away civil rights thru those types of measures.

All because Democrats were in a frenzy over the whole war in Iraq.

Naw, DEAN would have took it! (y)

He'd have upped the youth voter turnout because he'd scare them into thinking Bush would reinstate the draft in his 2nd term (who knows... could happen).

Ah, whatever the case... Kerry was the WRONG choice for the nod. Dean, Clark, Kucinich... they'd have rocked it hard. :D

kerry would've been much better off with wesley c. as a running mate or dick g. or carol m-b or al s. for that matter...as my dad was wont to say 'hindsight is 20/20'

Uh Kerry not running would have been better.

Damn straight.

I don't think Edwards was necessarily such a liability to Kerry. Kerry's liability was Kerry himself.

If Kerry had Gephart, he could have taken Ohio.

And I think Clark screwed himself once Moore endorsed him.
