According to his website (www.talibkweli.com), Talib Kweli will keep his place on the Beasties tour when they come to Europe. Shame. Oh well.

shame?
i enjoyed his act three times on this current tour.
he has a good bit about born in the 70s vs, born in the 80s, he freestyles whatever city he is in into his rhymes, it ought to be interesting to see how he is received in europe. give him a chance...
TK, yes! Ive just jizzed :o

yea...i too enjoyed Kweli, ive been a fan since i heard BlackStar...but live...he doesnt change the show up AT ALL. no varations of what he says/does...even his "freestyle" is usually about the same, minus a few lines here and there....im def NOT hatin, i like Talib a lot. (y)
hopefully he kills it in the UK!

exactly, you' get the miami sound machine hand clap followed by "dont stop till you get enough", followed by Al green and the blues,he plays blackstar,he plays Reflection Eternal, then Beautiful Struggle, i did like his "award tour" sample as well...
one thing bad about kweli on his live sets is that he screams.
i love his voice on all his songs. but when he performs live he shouts through all the songs. it's really scarry cause it doesn't sound like him. my theory is that his voice is too low to reach out in full effect on a live performance so he basically have to shout. it's a shame though.

he he "gets mad" if the crowd doesnt scream when he tells you to....and "whatch y'all now bout the blues?" when he sings Al Green. If you wanna hear the new single with Mary J Blige then he needs the crowd to say "NEW SHIT" on the count of 3.
ahhh Talib im just playin...i really enjoy your set and your new record....just change the shown up dammit!!! :D

i like it best when he flows super fast...it almost sounds like he is mumbling...but its really great to see an MC with skills flow like that.

According to the adverts for the tour in NME/the Guardian etc., Talib is only supporting them in Manchester. No idea who they've got in London/Glasgow as replacement.
