they gave a final north america tour date speach. said thanks to the whole crew, road/camera/etc, and were thanking everyone basically. turned into a ramble, but it was funny.

yes, this is true. but it was a more "tour is over....we need to thank these people for making it amazing, and fun to come out and do this every night" it was nothing like a retirement speech.

thats what i meant........thanx.......my guess is that the follow up (if there is one) cd will be out within 2-3 years........cuz 6 years will put them close to 50 years old......

Where did you learn your math? MCA is 40, Mike D is 39, Adrock is 38. Add six years that would make them in the 45, 46 range.

Just sayin'.

I am only 32 and I feel that I am close to 40. I can see what you are saying about 46 being close to 50.

46, 50...etc..who gives a shit....but 6 years is way to freakin' long. Im hoping and assuming that they have a treasure trove of unreleased and remixed tracks somewhere in a vault...i mean c'mon they have got to right??? and someday that shit will come out...hopefully sooner than later. But new orignals in the next year or two would be nice, and i thought i saw on these boards somewhere about a quick follow up to TT5B with similar material.

As long as they do another tour and come back to Toronto soon, I don't care if they come out with remixes or new originals or even if they just come back and do all old songs, I don't care. Just do another North American tour (with Toronto included) soon!!!
But, even though new songs would be awesome, I don't see it happening at least another year as they've been working a lot this year on promoting TT5B and touring that I'm sure they haven't had the time to work on a new album.

what i said in the $5 fanzine before TT5B dropped is apparently true......this tour is the highlight of this whole experience.....the setlists change everynight and they're doin songs they haven't done in years....i'm still upset i missed my chance in Philly.....anyway......what i also said in that issue is that when everything is said and done, i feel the beasties will tour (without a supporting album) clubs similiar to how Run-DMC did before D lost his voice and JMJ died......according to Yauch this is what they wanted to do for PB......so apparently, this idea isn't too far fetched......

now come on - what does reality have in common with your whiny article?? tour is the highlight? - for some (a lot) people the record is THE HIGHLIGHT.. that´s just your opinion
and the other thing is even more far fetched: because 15 years ago, beastie boys wanted to do a club tour to support a record, your theory of them not releasing a new record and making club tours is proven????
