yo.

as you have all already read the show was bananas. my mouth seriously hit the floor when "NO sleep.." kicked in after MMM's intro. thanks to my friends i met on tour [my ninth of the year] i once again got to enjoy the show from the safety of the pageant pit.

i got mad dap from Adrock all show, and my face hurt from smiling so much. i dont wanna brag about it all, cuz that shits whack....but i had an experience i will never never ever forgot. (y)

on the way home to Maine....the weather was very very shitty. CT. was all snow and ice, and it being 4am and me super tired and bad weather, the combo didnt mix. I got in a really bad car accident and totally FUCKED my car. health wise im ok, and so is my partner in crime [micodin], but it sucked being stick on I-91 in CT at 4am. after lots of waiting, tow trucks, state troopers, Amtraks, boston transit etc....i finally made it back home to Maine sometime around 6:15pm the next day.

i know its stupid to say, but it was worth it. this tour has been an amazing period in my life, and im already anxious to see the boys again....i miss em.

props to jaime, cey adams, and adam h. for everything they did for me. much respect.

to everyone else....be careful on that black ice. for serious! ;)

Woah...sorry to hear about the accident. At least everyone's ok.

It was great to meet you in Chicago! Hopefully we'll meet up on the next tour. I haven't been out East to see them. :)

Now you just have to get that passport ready for Europe!

congrats on your ninth show of the tour and for getting back in one piece, i know what you mean, i feel like the last month has been a phase of my life i will never forget...

so you must have been the guy adrock said was "feeling it" in the front when he took a moment to reflect and take it all in, he said something like "my man in the front is feeling it, look at that smile on his face..."

Sorry to hear about the accident, Seth. Thank god you weren't hurt.

What you said about the Nassau show made me feel really bad that I didn't go to it. I was planning on it, but I got sick from standing out in the cold in Chicago.

Were you rockin' the pink Scorpio hat and tie again at Nassau? Or did you have different pageantry gear? These are the important details you must share. :D

Btw, I'll be in Europe in case you decide to go crazy and come over for the tour.

The pageant pit is the VIP area, usually at the side of the stage. It's not regular GA.

ahh i think i remember that section; it looked kind of special. the way it is called the pageant pit, i thought that maybe at some shows they put costumed folk all together :p

naaah, thats not the GA area.... with a special pass, you get access to the small little area on stage right, for friends/family and stuff...when Adam was talking to me, he was discussing my 9th show and thanking me, and thanking me, and thanking me...i turned very red :o :D

Ah, Seth, man, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad you two are okay though. Stuck on a snowy interstate at 4am really sucks, but the health is the important thing. And it's not stupid, I know it was worth it. It's hard to describe how amazing it is to travel and see the shows. It's such a cool experience. You miss it as soon as it's over, and once you know it's the last one you feel all sad.

So, I wanna see pics of the custom t (y) and I am so damn jealous you got to hear No Sleep Till Brooklyn! Anyway, like I said, I'm really happy you guys are okay.

What a night. It was Seth's 9th and my 7th Pagent (stupid work). We got there mad early and chilled with our 8th graders from Queens and Karen from Virginia. After we got inside Cey hooked us up with our Pagent Pit wrist bands and we got to check out were we was gonna see the show. It was like 2 feet away from the stage and we had a monitor speaker that was pointed in our direction that sounded great. I can remember how bitter sweet the night was because it was the last time we was gonna see the dog show, last time we could dance to Michael Jackson with Talib and the last time (for a lil' while) we'd see the Beasties. Usually the night kinda drags untill it's time for the Beasties to come on but the night was just flying away. I think it was the great seating location and the fact we was having a great time.
When MMM dropped No Sleep Till Brooklyn, Seth and I looked at each other and freaked out. They killed it. It was perfect, no line flubs or anything... I was so happy and impressed. Their entire set was great. Out of the 7 shows I went to this year I know it was their best hands down. The set list, energy, just a great night.
After the show we talked to one of the girls from Northern State and she was so happy. She told me that the greatest moment of her life was when Adrock gave her a shout out during the show. The smile on her face was priceless.
The drive home was not so much fun. We were both exhausted and Seth drove for an hour. Then we caught some sleep in a rest area. Seth woke up and started driving again. It was snowing some and the roads were a little slick. We crossed a bridge and he lost control of the car. We slid backwards and crashed into the gaurd rail. Car was fucked. We just looked at each other and kinda gave that nod. The glad we survived that shit nod.
Anyhoo, I want to say thanks to all the people (even know you will never read this) that went out of their way to help us. Thanks to the tow truck driver that made sure we got to the train station and who was so nice to us. Thanks to the security guy in the train station who got us a free train ride to Boston. Thanks to our friend Louann who had to drive a lot on her day off to pick us up in Boston and take us back to Maine. Thanks to Jamie and Cey who were nice to us at all the shows and hooked us up when they didnt have to. Thanks to the Beastie Boys who put on a great show every night and giving us shout outs and props during the shows.
And thanks to Seth for being my best friend. These past shows are highlights in my life and I'm glad I got to experience them with you. The money, the car crashes were all well worth it. No regrets, just great memories. Now we great stories to tell untill the next tour. Which I hope is real soon (hint, hint).

I can not believe northern east coast is already like that. I am so glad to hear you kids are alright. There are always some fun/possibly scary adventures on tour. I was so blissin to see the northern lights on the way back from Detroit and after the MSG show I never saw so many smilin faces in manhattan at once. In Virginia, I rocked this drum n bass sushi club called Dragonfly and It was the best time I had ever going there. The saki was excellant. Anyways, hope you get everything fixed/worked out and keep on keepin on. DUB L IRIE

Oh, nothin left to do but smile smile smile. :D :) :o
