Well it's been a while since I threw up some remixes so let's make up for lost time. Some Beastie remixes, some Jay Z, and some 'original' compositions as well (i.e. non-remixes). Anyway let's start the show..

Your final parting gift is "Why'd You Make that Record? It's one of my better ones so I thought I'd put it on here. Yes i know there's no BB on it but I'm pretty sure the BBs would dig it to.

Unfortunately for any remixers, I judge all Jay-Z remixes against the Double-Black Album remixes by our own forum's Cheap Cologne - And very few stand up to the comparison. Your 99 Problems is pretty good, but I think the beat falls just a little bit late right around the "We'll see how smart you are when the K-9 comes." The remix is not that hard-hitting, and a little repetetive, but still pretty good. Worth listening to. You definitely need to mix it up a little more. I haven't listened to the other ones yet. I'll give the 99 Problems a B, maybe a B+.

Speaking of 99 problems, yeah it was one of my first remixes.. incidentally my favourite 99 remix is by Mister X and is fille with old school beats.

I had to Pitch up Hey Ladies a bit but that is my taste I guess
the beats are real cool and easy to listen too

the beat and scratches in Ch-Check it out I like the most but I think they will sound better on an other Acapella song

My personal favorite would have to be "Why'd you have to make a record" -
'cuz breaks are my favorite!! It has a Fat Boy Slim - On the Floor at the Boutique feel to it. :cool: It'd be nice to hear more of your other stuff too - still haven't heard one I haven't liked!!! Keep it up :) :)

yeah, i've listened to that one more than the actual Jay-Z CD itself. It's got really good contrast between musical styles. Anyway, not hatin' on Innuendo, he had a good remix, just not hard-hitting enough for my taste. Sorry to hijack the thread. Peace.
