agreed.....move it to the political discussion.

my uncle (father of 4 -including a 2week old infant) is shipping out there next week.
yay.

war sucks. people die. children die.
it never ends.
but it's necessary.
posting pics of it won't help anything.

Foolish. First of all, you can't post photos in the political forum. Secondly, this war was not necessary and very illegal and completely immoral. And posting photos will help by informing people and spreading the word, you moron. Now continue being dumbed down, by getting back into your bubbles and watching your reality tv or sitcom trash. Kthanx.

Fighting for life is necessary.
Not war!
War isn't the solution! It's the problem!

With pictures like that, its not hard to see why some of the Iraqi's that were kids during gulf war 1 have turned into terrorists. One can only wonder what type of effect this bloodshed, and that in afghanistan, will have on this generation of kids, 10 years down the track.

i was going to say the same thing. guess i'm a good teacher.

there's nothing like journalism photography, especially during a war. it's really amazing how few photos of the actual effects of the war the american people are exposed to. most of the real work probably won't surface until this all blows over and there's a massive regime change.

and i agree with dipdipdive.

Yeah that was quite poor taste, even for an internet message board.

funny. its a fuckin war. in a war, people die. its true, just take my word for it, its normal, nothin out of the ordinary. and yes, war is necessary, without conflict, there will be no change.

Actually, the kids do look like they are napping near a tank. I don't see any blood or anything.

Thanks for posting that. This is the pictures section. I know the pics are disturbing, but that's kind of the point. If you don't want to look, imagine how these people must feel.

I've noticed a lot more blogs are posting pics. How else will anybody know about the Iraq War? Words do not do justice to what is happening. Here are some photos, extremely graphic, I'll leave it up to you to see what our soldiers see daily. Pictures from Fallujah that probably won't be on your television. (http://fallujapictures.blogspot.com/) This is the name of the site, very current.

Wow....everyone has the right to thier own opinion but, the fact that people think this way is one of the major problems this world has. I guess closing our eyes will make it all better. Try looking into the faces of your uncle's kids and telling them this. I have a nine year old son and cant imagine something happening to him like the children in the above pics. Innocent lives are just that...no matter who they are.

dude, don't call out my uncles kids on a message board, you fuck.

i mentioned my uncle....but that doesn't give you the right to use it as a emotional talking point.
not your business.

i don't think this war was handled prooperly......it was a complete cluster fuck....
we were lied to, went to war on false pretenses....and failed to gain enough support.

that's not what i'm agruing for.

i'm talking about war in general.
it sucks......it will never end.....it is human inevetability.....and my uncle's children would understand that with time.
death doesn't always come with a nice, emotionally satisfying explanation
ass.

Well I do apologize for offending you by referencing your uncle's children in my post. I mainly wanted to comment on your remark about how posting pics like this wont change anything....kind of like ignoring it and once I got started I couldnt stop. I get very worked up at times about these kind of topics. Now you seem to be a decent person and I would love to discuss our different view points with you, but I wont lower myself to referring to you as "you F%$#" and "ass".

i cant believe so people dont see it like that. guess tha one kid right by the tank isnt really yawning.

of course it wouldnt look to cool on a page like this to have kids trusting UK soliders enough to take a nap next to them and their tank.

not your business. You can't control how and what people say on here. Everyone has a 'right' to post whatever they want, within the rules. If you didn't want your uncle's info used, you should have kept that shit quiet. You let the cat out of the bag.

BTW, I hope everything turns out okay with your uncle, but if not, print that post you made about this being war, and read to your nephew.

It's so sad to hear that people are going to war.
It's so awful to hear that many die for "freedom".
War is not the solution-will never be the solution.
We have a choice to decide guys. Do we need some chimp to tell us we are going to war, give some liberty to the iraqean people when all america's military are doing is destroying homes and their culture in their land- just like the old time americans destroyed the indians' territories and tribes by pushing what was once theirs into the deathmile. Did the government not learned this?! Are they sooo busy paying cash to the media to persuade us public viewers from whats truly going on in the world?

F the media and war!
You decide what YOU want and I decide what I want and don't let the fucker media or whatever stop you from making your decision. We are individuals and we have individuals minds but if we put each other together as a group then...well the government won't stop us because we are one and one nation that soon will rebel the badness of this economy world
