By the way, a "desert" is one of those huge open spaces filled with sand. I think you meant to say "Dessert Question". :p (y)

:D That is so funny you finally said that cause I was a little bit weary about my spelling.....So whats your favorite desert then? I guess I would say the Oregon High Desert located in the middle of the state.

And for Desserts: ? Peppermint patties rock.........I like the mint and orange pepperage farm cookies!!! :D

Charlie Trotters is huge over here...really good place for fine dining dinner experience and really expensive. I am pretty sure it is in the palmer house or the Drake (both huge hotels here in Chicago) when will you be in town? ;)

Okay, this may sound a little strange, but I'm a caterer and I use this recipe regularly:

1 lb bag frozen raspberries (also blueberries and blackberries; if using strawberries cut sugar in half)
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar (that's the strange part, but don't be afraid)
1/2 cup sugar
1 qt Hagen Daas Vanilla ice cream

Place raspberries in a ceramic bowl and pour sugar and vinegar over, breaking up berries some if they are frozen together. Allow to mascerate for 40 minutes or so, stirring occasionally. When berries are thawed, serve over ice cream. Left over sauce can be stored in the fridge for 3 days.

My pleasure. Here's another, very easy, but it does involve turning on the oven:

1 pkg frozen pepperidge farm puff pastry sheets (not shells, make sure you read the label), thaw and cut each sheet into six even squares
1 pkg cream cheese, softened (microwave 30 seconds) fold in 1/4 cup honey and 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
sliced fresh strawberries and peaches

Place squares on an ungreased cookie sheet and drizzle with honey. Bake squares according to pkg instructions. Allow to cool then spread three squares with the cream cheese mixture. Top two of the three squares with the fruit slices and stack them. The top square should be placed naked side up and then drizzle honey or sprinkle confectioners (powdered) sugar over the whole thing. This is a variation on a very elegant dessert called a napoleon, which is offered in many fine restaraunts. Feel free to make substitutions in the ingredients.

Desert question?

Well, let me clear up the confusion. No, sand is not edible.

Maybe you meant dessert?
