I heard of some government are making a plan to tax cars to make more money.
And if the system works then ofcourse California will do the same.

If I understand what you just said,
The government already steals a significant part of your paycheck to redistribute to those it deems worthy of your money, without you even buying anything, and you're worried about additional taxes on cars?

Do you support sales tax?

I think of the current state sales taxes as less unconstitutional than income tax, social security, and medicare--what I was referring to.
I would have to give some thought to what a federal sales tax would mean.

I guess I could go for sales tax on anything that is not necessary such as anything healthcare related or food. I do not agree with income tax. I also do not agree with the luxury tax. Rich people can't help that they are successful. Besides, to some people, owning a Ford Escort is a luxury. Some can't even afford that. I am all for a flat tax. The rich shouldn't pay a higher percentage as the poor. It is discrimination. We are all for being fair right?

I tend to be just the opposite; when I'm not flirting with all out libertarianism, I find that I can't justify taxing domestic contracts (sales) as easily as income and property.

I feel that people, especially in big business are underpaid as it is. On top of that they are having to pay the government for the right to work hard and afford the things we need to live. While all of this is going on the big businesses are getting breaks from the government. If there is an income tax, politicians and government officials should have to pay a citizens tax to all of us for electing them and for their right to work. I am a union worker and we just got our new contract. We have not had one in 5 years. It just so happens that our new contract covers the last 5 years so we are still pretty much without a contract for the future.

I enjoy paying taxes on everything I do. When I get paid I pay taxes, when I buy groceries, when I buy a house, car, clothes, pretty much everything. I can't even build a barn without paying taxes. Then I pay property taxes. Didn't we leave England because of taxes and freedom of speech and religion?

Unless you were on the Mayflower, no, you didn't.
