Hey, I've just come back from the show in Rome and I'm back in Milan.
I don't have much time to write a proper review but I'll try to do it later. In the mean time here you have the songs I remember from last night (an all hip hop set of approx. 1.20 minutes):
MMM intro (a very short one, maybe because the show was already starting really late)
Super Disco Breakin’
Root Down
Sure Shot
Triple Trouble
Egg Man
An Open Letter to NYC
Pass The Mic
Paul Revere
3 The Hard Way (because of the italian rhymes probably)
Shake Your Rump
Right Right Now Now
Body Movin’
Brass Monkey
Ch-Check It Out
Three MC’s And One DJ
Encore:
Intergalactic
So What’Cha Want

That's nice,Xavito! Thank U for setlst, but very interesting - Whether MTV2 will show all concert today or only will show a pair of songs?
Today at 8PM(european time) MTV2 will show MTV Music Awards and they 've announced - Beastie Boys!

None of them were there, but that's because it was a show organized because the beasties were around for the MTV music awards. I'm sure in december MM and Alfredo will come too.
They didn't even mention anything about the Pageant!

Hey Xavito, don't know if you remember me, from the JMJ show, I took the pictures with that black and white camera.
Cool to see you around still loving the Beasties. Nice website too. I hope you had a good time at the show.

what about Coachella and the JMJ tribute shows?
I'm not sure if they were over an hour long. I know at Coachella they did 17 songs. And about the same for JMJ.
Hey X...did they sport the tracksuits or games shirts? Did MMM have the the big jumbo screens on his tables area?

Nope, not at all. There was only a big screen behind MMM.

Xavito dove eri all'interno del tendone?
Mix Master Mike played fucking fucking Bene!

I think the show in Rome was like all the shows of last may, the promo tour. that means 3mcs and the magic dj.
for milan:
tickets (again  ) are not aviable! To be newly available soon

was the show really that good?
I don't think so.
Having witnessed a proper bb gig, I mean, having already heard them also play instruments, I guess a djonlyonehourgig just like they did in rome, could lead to a plain gig... as, to my honest opinion, happened.
let's dress up for milan and see what's the difference like.

I don't think the new so watcha want version is soooo good.

The problem was the venue and people and the organization of the whole thing, not the hip hop set.

I totally disagree.
the place is cool (remember: price of the ticket - 6 euro, for non europeans: 8 usdollars +/-); the organization is totally self managed and furthermore I wonder what is the problem like with the crowd.
could it be better in milan? is it a rome-milan issue?
just wondering...

Well, I'm spanish so I don't think it's a milan-rome issue at all. I was right at the front and I can tell you that many girls were suffering from the drunk people who didn't care at all about the music and were just moshing all the time. I don't think having all those glass bottles around was very safe either, not just for the band itself but also for the people. Not to talk about the security, I am not normally in favour of the security but seeing all these girls asking for help and having the security guys just looking at them without doing anything was totally unnacceptable.
Before you ask, I've seen the beasties play 6 times so I kinda know what I'm talking about.

Tutto era permesso, quindi c'erano tante persone facendo foto, video, ecc. Io purtroppo non avevo niente...

3 The Hard Way (because of the italian rhymes probably)
Probably!
I noted that the lyrics written in the album aren't the same MCA sings:
"Que cosa fai? Come sta e? Ho fato molte telefonate."
In italian (as MCA sings instead) it's:
"Che cazzo fai? Come stai? Ho fatto molte telefonate."
In a BBoys interview with an italian MTV's vj that told it to them, MCA told:
"What a f**k, I think I was right, damn!"
So MCA please call me if you'll have to sing Italian rhymes!
Kisses to everybody
Lino

I am sorry you experienced such a bad environment…
Venues and crowds like that are ok to me. It’s true, there were dozens of bottles, everywhere, but none was thrown up in the air and we didn’t get in trouble.
I enjoyed the gig on the back of the tent and everything was fine and relaxed.

I wasnt there..
but I totally trust xavito.. so I believe him.
I think an hip hop set is something unique.
I went to paris for it!

prevedibile fin dall'inizio.
