I am not going to eat today cause I think I will just throw it up. If I do put something in my body it will only be ginger ale to settle the upsetness.

Ginger ale ain't bad but I’d go with sprite, just personal preference (y)

Well the advantage of ginger ale over Sprite would be that ginger has the soothing digestive properties, but if you're just having regular like Canada Dry or whatever store brand ginger ale, then the real ginger content is likely to be so minimal that it wouldn't really be effective other than as a placebo effect.
Get yourself a proper hunk of ginger root, grate a chunk about the size of your thumb or a little larger, and steep it with some fresh lemon and some honey, that oughta do ya right.
Peppermint tea is also quite good for stomach soothing as well.

Trader Joe's Ginger Lemonade...mmm.
I've not had that one; if I'm not mistaken Trader Joe's is a west coast US thing?
I didn't mean to imply that there are no good commercial brands out there, only that for the most part the main brands have a very low content of actual ginger. Reed's Ginger Brew is one brand I know is availabe in the US that is quite good, and seriously gingery. It's all about readin' labels, peeps.
