Polls

Hey. I was wondering how do you put up a poll? I did a search but couldn't find anything.

Help would be much appreciated.

When you click on "New Thread" towards the bottom there is text such as this:

Post a Poll
Yes, post a poll with this thread
Number of poll options: (Maximum: 0)

And you click/follow instructions.

I don't know why but I still don't see it :confused:

All it says is Additional Options and Posting Rules.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

1. New Thread

2. Scroll down to the Additional Options section. a few boxes down there will be a "Post a Poll" box.

3. Check the box that states "Yes, post a poll with this thread".

4. Click Submit New Thread

5. You are now redirected to a poll options page where you can choose your alternatives for the poll. Click Submit Poll.

I was beginning to think I had different options because of the admin thing. You said it so much better than I. ;)

anyway that should set you straight spuffy. checked your display mode too and you got it all set up correctly.

Thanks I got it now =). I think I figured out why I couldn't see it before. I stayed in this forum and clicked new thread. I wasn't going to start one I just wanted to see if I could find what Daisy mentioned and I couldn't.

I guess you have a Poll blocker here or something? I dunno.

I tried to do that In the General Beastie Boys Forum and I saw what you guys were talking about. I can't believe I missed it before :rolleyes: . It was right there.

yeah not all subforums have polls enabled. good look with the polls. (y)
