If Yauch wants to go online and just chat, then it would kind of defeat the purpose to have something indicating he is online. But if one of them wants to START a post, then maybe a sticky or a thingy because they are seeking a response and we can see them first one the -- that is probably more interesting to a lot of the people who post than "if MCA were a tree, what kind?" variety.

Just a thought.

Anyone who has read Yauch's posts would know that he comes online and basically responds to whatever he's in the mood to respond to... He'll have like 4 posts and 3000 people asking him shit and then he disappears...

Part of the fun in posting here is having him show up unannounced... the people who are truly addicted and live here 16 hours+ per day are then rewarded with his presence... if you are a lazy user who checks the board once a week for 5 minutes, then you don't deserve to know when he's online...
