I think that Canada East coast is 6 hours behind, so you might be avle to work it out from that. I'm not 100% though.

There are some real player alternatives (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm) I've heard of, but not tried my self! Maybe someone can suggest some knowledge on the matter.

if you are using mac, get wiretap, it records any audio playing on your desktop and plays back in itunes. but to load onto an ipod, you have to convert the file to an aac
