Is the European leg of the Beasties tour particularly grueling or are most tours like this? They play three straight weeks, every single night and they're coming off the U.S. segment of the tour. That's a marathon of performances if you ask me. I don't know how they keep it together.

They're not performing every night, they have nights off like the rest of us.

Every single night? Are there more dates than are listed on the website?
Ahhh, I am reading the calendar incorrectly. (I was looking at the calendar link rather than the home page If you do that, it looks like they're doing a show every night. But I see from the home page that they're not.)
I guess that answers my question. :) Nevermind.

grueling? well, sort of, i am on the tail end of having the flu, which has been kicking my ass for two weeks now. everytime i think that it's just about gone it hits me again. but that being said, i think that it is gone now. and it better be or i'm going to kick it's ass back.
anyway the shows have been fun and the crowds have been really good. so no complaints.

Must be awsome to be in front of a huge crowd every night and get them screaming. The raw energy, thatd be worth the flu, or anything touring around can throw at you.
By the way, you are god on a kaiser bun.

That must really, really suck! I can barely do anything if I get flu, and I certainly wouldn't want to be up on stage! Or is it therapeutic?
I was at the Manchester gig and really enjoyed myself - my first ever Beasties gig and I'm hoping it won't be the last!

Get your rest for the Amsterdam gig though! Please? :(

Hey man, I got the flu around the same time you did last week. I suffered through for a few days but finally went to the doc to get some antibodics. Tell the doc to give you Zithromax, it comes with only 6 pills, but continues to work weeks after your last dosage. I promise it will help
Peace, and feel better!

Zithromax (azithromycin) is a macrolide antibiotic. It is not an antiviral, and therefore can do nothing for an infection with the influenza virus. This is an example of how antibiotics are overused nowadays and why bacteria are developing resistance to everything.
The only things that help the flu are 1) get a flu shot beforehand, 2) see the doctor within the first 2 days and get prescribed one of several antivirals now approved for flu treatment [http://www.cdc.gov/flu/protect/antiviral/] and 3) treat the symptoms.
Thank you for your attention.

Had the flu and still got out there and rocked the stage for the party people.... whatta guy! Seriously, that had to suck. I can barely get my butt off the couch to go to the grocery store when I'm under the weather let alone get on a stage in front of thousands!

Its alrite MCA. You'll make it through. You know what I just saw, that celebrity deathmatch thing with the beastie boys versus the backstreet boys. you must be ashamed of that shit, crappy clay animation and bad voices. it was respectful though, and you guys won, so no worry.
