The Beastie Boys are in the top albums and singles of 2004 in the shit-rag that is NME;

Albums - Number 16 (between TV on the Radio 'Desperate Youth, Blood, Thirsty Babes' - 17 and Dizzee Rascal ' Showtime' - 15)
To the 5 Boroughs
The chances of three 40-year-old white rappers coming back to turn this motherfuckin' party out after a six-year absense seemed virtually impossible at the start of 2004. Yet with some choice crate-digging, intentionally moronic rapping,a yeti and the album's beautiflu centrepiece - a moving tribute to New York - it was buisness as usual for rap's illest MCs.
Essential track: 'An Open Letter to NYC'

Singles - Number 24 (between TV on the Radio 'Staring at the Sun' - 25 and Kelis 'Milkshake' - 23)
Ch-Check It Out
Look, we were suprised too. Adam Yauch has gone completely grey and Mike D continues to age into a warpspeed-worn Leonard Nimoy - so it truely was a thing of wonder to discover that the NYC three could still throw down a socks-rocking old-skool jam such as this.

Ooo, Dizzee Rascal's CD is really good and so is his mentor's(Wiley; with his song about pie). ^_^

I'm pretty happy with their positions. Thanks for the info.
