Bullshit. The new album was all "rap songs". Wasn't a single instrumental or anything else besides straight up hip hop on there. I think you have the right idea Andreas, the Beasties need more hard hitting beats like this one. I say DO IT FLUID.

there's a BIG difference between beasties' hiphop and rest of the world's hiphop. that's the reason they are so fucking good.
the music of AOLTNYC, the brouhaha, we got the, right right now now, even chcheck it out, have NOTHING to see with the rap music out there (and I repeat once again, that's the reason the beasties are so good)
before that rappers, the beasties are MUSICANS, and you can feel this on each song

That's why it's a remix. None of the mixes on their singles sound like they did the production. That's usually the point of a remix, to give it a different sound. It doesn't sound like a 5 boroughs original, and that's the whole point.
