Asian Disaster -> Asian Aid

In the past there was Live Aid, Band Aid, Farm Aid, Vote for Change. Oops how did I forget the concert for Tibet? We need a massive organizational effort and concert tour NOW for Asian Aid. Please help. USA to send $15 - $17 million, EU to send $4 million. Excuse me, but that is not nearly enough. West needs to reach out to these Islamic, Sufi, Buddist, Hindu, etc nations now in their time of need. We must be more than the war on terror.

**I'm sending the above message around as much as possible. Spread the word and use your influnce everyone. I hope some of you all here can spread this idea like a virus to other bands. If enough bands get the idea and start talking, someone is going to organize this. It needs to happen. The amount of money the west has initially started talking about sending thru govt channels is insulting, but now they say more is planned. Charities collectively can pull that much much alone. Add a Vote for Change type multi city multi act multi genre music show and it will pull in more than $20 mil by itself...

Your asking the right questions - great question. Contact your local church they are likely already collecting or contact your local elected officials and tell them to set up an aid package from your state/city or tell your congressman/senator them we need to send more as the USA. I build web sites for a living, maybe Asian Aid needs a website, but not sure I can pull that off alone...
