New Dog?

So my mom is really distraught that my doggie died, so she's been doing everything to keep her mind off of it. She really wants a new dog, because she's lonely with just the cats. Skippy died on Thursday, so I'm not too sure about getting a new dog quite yet. They said we won't be "replacing" Skippy, just helping relieve misery by doing something good for a needy animal, and helping us along in the mourning process.

He's been at the Rescue Shelter for 3 months and is really sweet. He's 4 years old, and is housebroken and is very affectionate. Not very playful, but very curious and a little shy, very adorable. We applied for adoption, so hopefully we'll get him.

I still miss Skippy though. :(

that pooch looks like a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. When I was growing up I lived next to a woman who bred that type of spaniel. In fact, she gave me one of her puppies. His name was oliver. he was a sweetie but not very smart (that's why she gave him to me she couldn't breed him and he was too dumb to show.) I like Cavalier's though. they make great companions. thier noses are pretty short and sometimes they snore a bit when they sleep. they are definently lap dogs and they usually like to cuddle. Good luck, I hope you rescue him!
