Hi Marwan, I own a Edirol PCR-30 (without the built-in audio interface).

I use mine for auditioning samples and virtual synths, along with assigning the knobs and sliders to synth controls for on-the-fly automation recording.
I love it... although it is now 2 years old and 3 keys have stopped working :(
I use this PCR-30 inside FL Studio and it works a treat :)

Put them sliders and knobs to good use and get automating ;)

oh that's sounds no good. did u give a good beating everytime u played it or was did it just happen on its own.

and yes. it's the best addition to my music making i made. i got this half decent mic from an electric store and my mate brought his drum kit over and we just recorded all our own drum samples. made all these snare and kick hits. sounds great too. :D

i'll be hooking up a guitar into the input soon so i cant wait for that. i'm actually really surprised at how good the quality of the Audio interface is. didnt think it'd be that great.

yeah, I got a few peices of hardware. I use some soft stuff too. I'mma big Cubase fan. I love reason also. Most of our stuff gets started there. I got a juno 106 synth, novation bass and drum station, and a Korg Ms2000. Got a few other pieces, but these are the ones in the most use. Highly suggest the ms for a good all round digital synth, under a grand that has some fat filters. Word on the street is Korg bought the filter patent from Bob Moog and that's what they use for there filter section. I don't know if its true or not, but they are Phat!!!! Its got a good sound too. Some fav soft synhts...absynth,fm7, and v station. Check out any of this stuff for quality. Happy recording!!!!!!!!

I second the emotion on the Korg MS2000. It has 49 keys so its good as a controller but Oh-My-God yes I love it as a "Virtual Analog" synth. It deeply saddens me for you to refer to it as just a 'digital synth'! A true digital synth would be the Yamaha DX-7.

The Juno-106 is also great in its own way. It's raw and powerful and can fry your ears or thump your chest.
