He must be taking the piss... (http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/entertainment/21012004.htm)

BEASTIE BOY LEFT SHOCKED BY UFO ENCOUNTERS

BEASTIE BOY ADAM HOROVITZ was left spooked on more than one occasion last year (04) - when he spotted what he thinks were UFOs.

The SABOTAGE rapper will remember 2004 as the year US President GEORGE W BUSH was re-elected, against Horovitz's wishes, and for the two occasions he saw what looked like alien objects.

He says, "There were two different times last year (04) when I did think I saw something that looked like UFO activity.

"All I know is that I saw a bunch of lights go wooosh, really high and way over there. I don't know what it was. I was driving down one of those streets like Wilshire (Boulevard, Los Angeles).

"The other time was down by the beach and I saw pretty much the same thing. But I can't say for sure they were UFOs."

What a character.

Good stuff....I was kinda disappointed there for a while, people did not seem to want to fulfill the humour potential of the thread. Adrock sees aliens, c'mon! Miramanee to the rescue.

Did you see the one about Yauch worrying about peoples' eating habits?? It's amazing how that site can make a 'news story' out of one quote.

thanks wints :)

haha that is weird that someone cared enough about that comment to write about it..

supersize me had a good intention, but my god was it gross :( they forced us to watch it in health class. we had to watch this guy throw up, and the inside of another persons stomach get operated on, and pictures of really scary McDonalds clowns flash by the screen every 4 minutes. bleagh.

i didn't eat there alot anyways (i dont like hamburgers and i found a big bone in a chicken nugget when i was little) but after that movie i avoid it as much as possible. it was really gross to see what it did to that guy, and totally unappatizing to see what it was all made out of. but if im late somewhere and dont have time to stop in and get somthing from someplace else, my last resort will be to get a McChicken and a water, nothin else. nasty food though, really.

Ha Ha! He's such a goof ball. Nice photo Miramanee!

One of my brothers is a rocket scientist in the Los Angeles area. Maybe he saw one of their launches??? Or maybe once Bush got re-elected, he snapped and saw little green men and shit. I know I did.

So after watching it, do you think you'll ever eat there again?

I stopped eating there (though I didn't go much) after reading Fast Food Nation.

but being a vegetarian I rarely find myself eating at fast food places anyway.
it's really hard to find a fast food place to eat, unless you want fries, or more salad...... and it's especailly hard in a small town! when you have little money and you are trying to eat healthy. (like last night, i drove around for 20 min. and then decided to give up and go home.)

I hate McDonald's...never liked it. Between the fast food places I like Burger King, Krystals, and Chick-fil-a(or however you spell it). Although I'm not to big of a fan on the fast food department. Putting aside the fact that it was gross, was the movie good? I wanted to see that one.

Oh yeah, nice pic M! That was real funny. Do they know if he was being serious about this or if he was just joking? Just wonderin'

it was an ok movie, but it was like a documentary. so its not exactly the kind you'd want to watch on a friday night with a bag of popcorn. and they go off into all these other things, like how unhealthy school lunches can be and everything. if you're into that kinda stuff then you should rent it, but i probably wont watch it again. (and it also could have been worse for me since i was forced to watch it in school at 7:30 in the morning)
