your last rental

so anyway here are the two things i rented last night.

this first one was a one day only so i watched it last night, i might end up buying some time soon. the second one i haven't watched yet but i get it till tuesday.

This is the last movie I rented, in May 1997.

good godz0rz paul kemp you thought versus sucked? sure the ending was lacking but i thought it was a cool movie. of course i don't have high expectations for asian flicks. that might sounds, uh, wrong or something but as long as it entertains! THEN I AM TEH THEREZ! Alive had a cool premise to it. although i'm not sure why the dvd had two versions of the movie. sorry, two dvd's. there was an orignal theatrical version and the other version. i watched the other version and didn't know abou the theatrical one being on the second disc, popped it in and didn't notice any differences for the first 30 minutes so i shut it off. the commentary was hilarious from what i read of it though.

anyway, i especially don't have high expectations from movies based on mangas. i would assume that if you didn't like versus you didn't like ichi the killer?

you've seen battle royale 2 but know nothing of Riki Takeuchi's past acting history? i would then again assume that you're just now getting into takashi miike's films.

shit i should go rent another movie or something.

I've seen a few Miike films: Ichi, Bird people of China, Audition, Visitor Q, and Happiness of the Katakuris.
