Do you make a habit of skipping breakfast?
If so, STOP THAT!
When you stop at the grocery store - do you mean like a proper shop, or a 7-11y type thing?
If it's a place where you can get a fresh sandwich made, cool, but avoid pre-made packaged processed stuff. If I have to get something on the go, I try to grab a piece of fruit, maybe a packeage of nuts or trail mix or something like that, and some yogurt or vitamin milkshake type thing (like Nutriment).

Its always fruit in the morning for me. If not solid then juice. I also like to whip up a smoothie first thing. Gives me good energy.
I think I will make a fresh batch right now. I wish i had spirilina to put in it. :o

i havent eaten regular breakfast since middle school, which was about 7 years ago maybe? since then, ive just caught one here and there. never wake up early enough to do cereal before morning class or work, so i dont.
i would love to do something like a smoothie or some sort of shake, but i dont have a blender at the moment, and im too cheap to buy them, nor do i want too...
i should just try and eat some fruit or something, i guess thats about as good as i can do...at least its something

Shame on you! Trite as it sounds, breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. If you are not eating breakfast, you are not allowing your metabolism to set itself properly and you might not notice the effects right now, but give it ten years when suddenly you look down and go "holy fuck! Whose big fat gut is that?"
If nothing else, go to a health food shop and invest in a can of Spirutein and have a shake each morning. You don't need to have a blender - you can get a 'shaker' cup thing and mix it up that way. Along with this have a banana and a handful of almonds. It's not ideal, but it's a thousand times better than nothing.

if you have a kettle or microwave at work just bust out some quick cooking oatmeal in 3 minutes
and if you have a fridge there keep a jar of peanut or almond butter at work and slap a couple dollups of that shit in the warm oatmeal, let it melt and you have a goddamn good and protein rich breaky

The PB and oatmeal combo is great, I take that and add 2 egg whites and a cup of lowfat milk and blend it all together, super nourishing, easy to make breakfast shake, it really makes a huge difference in my energy levels for morning classes.

Keep a box of cereal bars at your desk! Nutrigrain or those muffin bars are pretty damn good too...Instant Oatmeal is good too if you have access to hot water...
