Yeah, people are knee-jerk about Hitler but don't blink an eye at the 30+ million Stalin killed.

Come to think of it, this is coming from the countries that thought a communications protocol called SS-9 (or something) was much too offensive to be used. So the Europeans have a different name for the same thing.

I have a buddy who brews beer, no one objected to Pol Pot Porter or Stalin Stout...but they were up in arms over Hitler Hefeweizen.

I don't see what Stalin or Pol Pot have to do with this, hell even the Jews.
Hitler bombed the shit out of London and many other British Cities.
Now British Royalty is showing up at parties in nazi-uniforms, when everything royalty in western europe seems to do is suck up money, because politically speaking, they're off the map. That's why I can see some people got offended.
Anyway being send to auschwitz is a smart lesson for everyone, wont do him no harm.
