So I was reading the Circuits section of the New York Times today (a Thursday section about technology), and there was an article about cell phones. The full article is here: http://www.nytimes.com/2005/01/13/technology/circuits/13phon.html
Nothing very interesting, unless you're hot to try the new phones with videos and whatnot. (Mine doesn't have a camera - heck, it doesn't even have ringtones, it's that old.) But the very last couple of sentences, where the reviewers were talking about a feature all the phones shared, made me smile:
In all, the two were pleased with the overall selection, but there was one puzzler: the testers noticed that for some reason almost every phone had preloaded or had the ability to download the song "Brass Monkey" by the Beastie Boys. "I don't know what it is about that song," Mr. Potter said. "But I guess the wireless guys like it."
Well, sure they do! It's an awesome song! The wireless guys have taste. :)
