They play at the Palacio de los deportes. I registered their name on www.pollstar.com so whenever a new show for the Beasties comes up, I'm emailed the details.

I soo hope I come into the cash for plane fare, arrive 5:30pm, make my way to the venue, witness Beastie history (have they ever played in Mexico City?), go back to the airport and sleep on the floor until my flight home the next day. How far is the Palacio de los deportes from the international airport by taxi? I'm interested in an event there in March. Is there a way in which to confirm an event there? FYI, event is the Beastie Boys on March 8th. Thanks.

I live in Mexico City and this is my dream come true. a local newspaper has the march 8 date and the venue, it also said that the ticket presale would start on the 24 and 25th, which it has not, and no one here seems to know about it. What is pollstar? How can I be sure?

I've seen more local press articles about the show but they all say the same. The booking company here has the date and the prices already but no ticket sales dates are posted except for the presale which has already passed and I don't think it even happened. The booking thing website is www.ocesa.com.mx

Today I heard a promo on the radio saying the date and a bio on the bboys, still, no information on the tickets though.

They only do will call for international.... wints.. still no luck on my end! will keep trying!!!

I can get all the way through the Ticketmaster.com.mx site until I get to the credit card field. It only wants Mexican bank cards. It says it accepts American Express, but it doesn't work if you try to insert an American Express number in the field.

The site says all international orders are held at will call, which is no biggie. I've never had problems getting tix at will call.

Ok... spoke to the ticketmaster peeps in mexico. AGAIN.. Here's the skinny:

They can't do anything over the phone for presale tickets. It's internet only.. who can we talk to about gettin the damn thing fixed - cause i KNOW my american express aint at it's limit?!?!

as you can see, cheapest tickets sucks, cause they are far away from stage. I went to see Limp Bizkit when they came to Mexico, and the best Level is "A" level, because you can walk toward the stage freely, of course if the mass allow you :D

if anybody will came to Mexico I can guide y'all and if you want to, I could be a translator too. Free charges y'all, it's all by me ;)

like some posts says, the airport is far from 10 min or less. 20 min or more in rush hours
