I try to listen...but I don't have the time. I'd listen more if my computer at work was capable of playing Real audio.

you can get it on Windows media too......

I listen a fair bit. Al Franken, Randi Rhodes & Majority Report. Usually I turn it on when I'm in the kitchen, and if it's good I'll bring the radio out to the office/studio & keep listening.

Houston doesn't have a Air America station, so I get most of my "lib" news :) from here:

KPFT, part of the Pacifica Network (http://kpft.org/)

They broadcast a variety of shows, including Democracynow. And the cool thing about this station is that when you finally get bummed out by all the bad news, they eventually start playing music again. I think they play every type imaginable*, except for classical. And they interview a lot of musicians many of whom play their stuff live on the air. And the DJs actually know something about the music they're playing.

* I'm still trying to find out what group did a rap song during the station's hip-hop show that used the Sesame Street theme as a foundation. They have a playlist page but can't find that song. It was really cool sounding & didn't talk about 20 inch rims or big asses, just a happy/light-hearted tune with a good beat.

I often keep it playing at work.

My officemate and I wrote in to stop playing gay marriage ads since they're just hurting the success of the Democrat party and they seem to have listened since I haven't heard any for days, so maybe you can thank me for doing it.

I listened to it for a little bit (online), but I just don't really like talk radio in general. It was alright, but I'd rather read my politics while listening to music.

It's good that it's still up though. I remember all of the pundits proclaiming its demise as soon as listenership fell off alittle and they lost a station or two.

I used to listen to it ALL the time when it first premiered, but I got bored with it pretty fast. Randi Rhodes and all her yelling and shouting gave me a headache.

I do, however, really really love Al Franken! Hence why I went all the way to Chicago to see him speak at a dental convention (my Dad is a dentist :)) and got my photo taken with him. :D
