Big up for President Bush! The wacky fucking left, who were hoping against hope that there would be tons of sucicide bombers, death and no people voting can't say shit. There will not be another Democrat elected for at least another 20+ years, and you know this.

Okay...that was seriously some deep thought provoking stuff.
First, since when did the term 'liberal' have a negative connotation?
Second, democracy cannot be achieved through military invasion and foreign occupation. And a lot of Arabic people in the Middle East are disjointed and skeptical about what America actually wants and suspect an ulterior motive.
Third, It's too early to derive at conclusions based on this 'historic' election. May I add, there was minimal participation by the Sunni Muslim sect. I predict that the Shiite Muslims (the current majority) of Iraq will unite with the Shiite Muslims of Iran, a nuclear power. And that poses the biggest threat to your country.
Finally, regarding what you stated in your last sentence; there is little to no difference between the Republican and Democratic party. The latter has adopted policies of the former and vice versa. They are slowly and unknowingly forming a new party, the Republicrats.

this is the best day in iraq history since the war ended over a year agoWonderful. Don't you just wish you were Iraqi? We're really missing out over here, there and everywhere else that hasn't been 'Liberated'.
I bet the people of Iran can't wait for the bombs to start raining down on their cities. Democracy can't be far behind.

Right, because I'm the one who started this thread. My bad. I'll stop posting in troll-threads to prevent getting blamed for them.

Meh, then I shouldn't be singled out. I do it for effect, other do it because that is what they actually believe. I could take the "sock cucker" comment back, but that's it.

I wouldn't exactly call it democracy in action if large portions of the country were EXEMPT from voting because it was too dangerous.
It will always be an illegitimate election until all voters in the ENTIRE COUNTRY are able to vote.
But still they had a better turn out than we did, and we didn't have to promise them underwear and raman noodles to do it.

Look again, last I checked they were giving "turnout" percentages of specific reagions. Not the entire country... Read the "Ocupied Election" thread.

nah, it was sarcasm. i've pretty much limited my political involvement nowadays to sarcastic remarks when it seems appropriate (like right then); i've come to realize how very small i am and i feel silly every time i propose to know very much about anything
i can still be funny though lol
also, am i going completely insane or was EF shhhhh hutton the original poster of this thread?
edit: maybe not, nevermind...he posted the other thread that's almost the exact same thing...to his credit though, he did it in the right forum
