Sorry if anyone has already brought this up, but I just wanted to say I thought it was really cool that the Beasties opened both the Sydney Big Day Out and the Sydney side show in green and yellow tracksuits (ie. the Aussie colours for those who might not know). It's like they were giving a little tribute. Very cool :D

yeah I thought that was cool... I hope it wasn't just a coincidence.. seing as though the sydney BDO was on Australia Day and all...
but I'm pretty sure they weren't in green and gold for the side-show. wasn't it the browny/orange ones for that?

i saw them interviewed on channel [v] (by their biggest fan andrew g)
and andy was wearing the coolest shirt, green and gold authentic 1981 australian test cricket shirt.
just as he was wrapping up the interview one of them asked if that was the aussie colours and andrew explained about the shirt, etc, etc, and then one of the other guys goes "but i thought we were wrapping up?"
lol
that was mid afternoon, they may have already had their outfits planned for that night, i don't know.
oh and yauch grabbed a ginger beer mid interview if you wanted to know.

It was no coincidence that they wore those colours on that day. It was all planned.

They definitely opened the side show with the green and gold ones. I think they changed into the blue and orange ones later on.
