Sources on Tibet

Does anyone have any pointers on where to get information about Tibet? I'm doing a research paper thing and the topic I chose mine on the question of Tibetan's independence and the concept of cultural and political independence. I've kind of started and I think I might be able to get a contact but I'd appreciate any suggestions and you can PM if you want. Thanks.

I have another suggestion..if you'd like to contact some people who either live in Tibet or have traveled there check out: www.virtualtourist.com

it's a travel website where people build thier own pages on places they live in and have traveled to. do a search on tibet and you should get alot of good info. I was writing a fictional story that took place in tibet and I used the site to contact people living in tibet for information.
