I'm talking the penny to 5p sort here, plus things like Flumps if you like. This comes about because me and my mate, 19 and 21 respectively were walking round the Arndale Centre eating candy sticks yesterday. Personally, it's white chocolate mice all the way.

Any gumdrop, like Jujubees and Dots. They get shellaced to your molars as if held there by the will of god. Beware the mysterious green fir-tree flavored Jujyfruit.
Sweet Tarts. Puting a delectable circle of sugary sourness under the tongue, it's like free-basing Kool Aid.

I loved the ...pence assortments in England when I was a kid. GB knows sweets! Me mums English and I went to school in Manchester in my 7th year I think it was... and have family all over there. Anyway, I love Bon Bons in white powder, the chewy coke bottles are good, licorice allsorts, fruit pasteles are my favorite! Flake bars... oh there's so many.
Then here I used to like Bonkers, 'cause my "Big Brother", Loco John (he collected trains) from the School/church I went to near Herndon, VA called Christian Fellowship, would have boxes of them for me when I visited. Smarties-yum. Skor bars. The Nougat chew in the Sampler which tastes like... oh what's that liquor...? A..B...C.... I forget. You know. Uhm, Jolly Ranchers, anything Cadbury. Strawberry Sour Patch. I can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!!! :)

And when I eat Crunch bars, the American ones, though I like English Crunchie bars too, I think of the kid in Flight of the Navigator when he pulls off at the convenient store. Whoppers are good. Anything Hershey. Cotton candy at the fair.

I don't really know about Starburst Joosters.. sound delish enough. But what I think is really good :D .... is... when I was 6 visiting with my uncle Joe (my sister and I called him uncle nasty...) in Cumbria at the Roman Fort Remains.. Knott's Head Pass in the Lake District, there was a little kiosk/ visitors cabin at the foot of the hills called Eskdale Mill, Boot. They had the best pure mint bars. I don't know if it classifies as candy exactly, I mean it's a class all by itself... It was the best bite to have on an overcast day while out roving the hills. :D

Cubscouts? I don't recall England having cubscouts. A friend of mine joined an English Army deal when he was 13 or so. Something like Civil Air Patrol here I guess. I remember he wore fatigues, and shot guns, and least he said. He was cool. And I suspect it was really good for him. I mean, I remember walking down the street with him and the neigborhood kids, and they would ambush some old guy that would try and hit them with his cane. England was quite and experience. Nothing like the US... You have to be there, I guess. Anyway, being the only American in the school at the time I almost had celebrity status, but many who hated yanks too. Anyway, why was he drinking petrol? I shouldn't take you too seriously being that you're prolific, if that's even the right word, in creative jargon.

In the UK the run of Scouts goes; Beavers>Cubs>Scouts>Ventures.
I made it through 1 of them only (cubs) and wisely bowed out before Scouts. But he did indeed drink petrol, and given it was the 1908's, it'd have been full fat 4 star, non of that unleaded pap.

Decidedly & delightfuly dope.
Man, I could go in there and never come out! Everywhere was a different elevation with a whole new design... some really intricate, but mostly natural. Just don't see it that eco-cultured and rich over here, exept for, like, Seattle and Upstate New York... Talk about Royal grounds to stand on... Me and my dog roved entire days and never even got around to see the whole place, I bet. Doggy heaven for Garfield(I know), my lab retriever with all the waterways. I love and miss England so much. I'll get back over there with my kids... not that I have any at the moment.. but eventually! I wonder if a buddy of mine who's parents owned and lived above their convenient store... shop... like just across and up the street are still there. I knew some really cool kids there! Ah, well, it's a small world... I'll get around... "...the sky is fallin' and I'm fallin' behind..."
