I'm 19. What you see is about 450 albums (I file my bootlegs and my "Wall of Shame" CDs elsewhere). I actually consider this amount to be more on the modest side, but that's only because the people I know are music freaks and older than me. Keep in mind that I get a lot of CDs for free because I'm a reviewer (I trade in the shitty ones at the used store), and when I was 15, I probably only had 100-150 albums. So you're well on your way! (y)

Actually, I started when I was 17! A couple weeks after I graduated from high school (2003), I found myself bored and jobless, so I decided I'd submit a few CD reviews to a local alternative weekly magazine. I had done a lot of writing for my high school paper (CD reviews and also a lot of Onion-style fake news), so I knew I was capable. The editor liked what he read and added me to his freelance roster. Now I've graduated to writing columns and doing interviews.

Basically, if you can write coherently, and if you have some accessible publications in your area, it's not a hard field to break into for a freelancer. Getting a full-time, well-paying job is another story altogether, though. THAT is tough.

Sadly they don't sell that much cadburys stuff over here. Only in some weird little shops you can buy Dairy milk bars and once in a while I find a curly wurly somewhere. And when I find it I buy loads because they are so damn good.
