It's very odd how the comments were not attributed to anyone. I sense Mike's voice in the comments, but it's hard to tell. The New Style lyric reference makes it seem like it's Horovitz who's speaking. In any case, they all were dumb back then and said stupid stuff. :p

i miss those days, the big new york arrogance of the boys. they came along at exactly the right time - i think it was when a-ha were singing take on me -and just shuck everything up. i loved their don't give a fuck attitude. we need someone like that nowadays.

Yes. - but is Uncut magazine. Uncut magazine presents NME originals. It's a special edition issue.

While the article is old it was reprinted as part of the 80s collection of interviews printed in this new issue. If your looking for this issue, it has 80s written in the left corner really big in red and it has adam ant as the main pic on the cover. The headline on the cover says A-Z of the New Romantics. It has really nice photos and articles on all 80s artists like madonna, prince, duran duran, boy george, depeche mode, and RunDMC. I bought my copy at Barnes and Noble - they have tons of UK mags.
