if you end up getting that, take off the vibrato unit. It fucks up the tuning worse than a Bigsby.

SGs are awesome. So are Strats and Teles. A Les Paul sounds great, very big and lush, but there is so much you can do with SGs, Strats, and Teles. A Les Paul will always sound like a Les Paul, no matter what. But the others give off a flat sound that you can do so much with, and shape the sound to whatever your heart desires.

Not only that, but SGs just look cool. (y)

Peter Townsend's SG is great, I prefer P-90 equipped Gibsons in general, they do have a distinct and warmer sound compared to the ones with Humbuckers

Has anyone stuck a floyd rose in an SG?? Other than ESP...Because I think the sg shape with emgs and a floyd rose would suit the whole rock style i'm trying to go for...

A floyd rose won't fit in an SG. The body is too thin.

If I were you, I'd get a genuine Bigsby stuck on that thing. Or even better, the bigsby-style fender trem. They stay in tune better than Gibson trems.

Fender Jazzes are my dream bass. To me, nothing sounds better than a Jazz bass in a rock band. Play with a pick, and turn the bass up on the amp to compensate, and you've got a sharp, crisp sound thats just awesome.

Yeah I thought as much its just i've seen one once on an ESP, maybe it was aftermarket or something but still it suits the whole style... I still want the angus young headstock logo though. Too cool for school :D

I'm obliged to have it since I have to do my military duty. Here in Switzerland we keep our military equipment at home and do three weeks per year in the army. So we all have a gun at home with 50 bullets, but most of us just put it safe somwhere and don't think about it for the rest of the year. I don't know many people who are really excited about having this rifle at home.
When I received it I was 19, I thought it would be terrific to own that thing, it soon proved to be absolutely not exciting for me...just a piece of plastic and metal.

Didn't know they had made a 7.62 version.
