Ooooeeey, I just did make the scrummiest Tuscan-style dinner!

I got all inspired the other day at this Italian specialty foods shop when I spotted a bottle of chianti from Castello di Foterutoli, (http://www.fonterutoli.com/default1.htm) which we had visited when we were in Tuscany a few years ago.

Also at this shop I bought a jar of ragu di chinghale, or "wild boar sauce". (Game meats like wild boar, rabbit and a type of wild pigeon are very common in the cooking of that region.) So I made that with some spaghetti, and also a side dish of cannellini beans with sage (sage grows wild in that area so is also quite common in Tuscan cooking).

Picked up some olives, some roasted peppers with chili and some sundried tomatoes with herbs for antipasti and BLAM! What a fucking feast I tell you.

Am still working on the wine. Blllllloooooody hell, is it good!

if you can find differents types of pasta try with "pappardelle". That's the best pasta with ragu di cinghiale (y)
