When I was at the Long Beach show recently, the boys made a point to thank the audience, and said something of the sort that last time they were there at that venue, there was a riot... does anyone know that story about that? Plus, when I was on beastiemania.com, one of the UK shows from that time period ( LTI era ) ended in a riot as well. What happened at these two shows?

was that the show w/run dmc on the Together Forever tour in '87......i got an article on this from People magazine......it's in my beastie museum.......the real beastie musuem......

At the New Orleans 1987 Together Forever show there was increased police presence because there had been reports of violence earlier in the tour.

We had to go through metal detectors. This was unusual back in 1987. There was one fist fight that broke out before the lights went down. Security was there to break it up fairly quickly.
