"da doo ron ron ron" is way up there on the list

many of the classics are from the 60's

but my favorite recent one is from "close to modern" by the french kicks and goes:

"woohoohoo ahhh"

no, Im not insane.

"menememenenemeee" on 'Buddy'-De La Soul

"Dahoooomm" by Mike Jackson on 'The Way You Make Me Feel' has always been a favourite.

I've always been pretty impressed by Michael Jackson's use of the non existant word, "Sha-mo." He just sings it here and there as if it's an expression people use all the time.

I also like "Wee-ooh-wee-ooh, wee-um, um, a-way" in the Lion Sleeps Tonight.

I've asked the question of Who put the Bop in the Bop de Bop de Bop; Who put the Ram in the Rama lama ding dong? Who was that man? I'd like to shake his hand

Folks muscians have a monopoly on the La La La's with America's "Ventura Highway" and Simon & Garfunkel's "The Boxxer" leading the pack

But the undisputed champ is Guess Who ~ No Sugar Tonight for pulling off the Na Nana Naa's with style, grace and most of all machismo

A Gold Star goes to the Beatles "I am the Walrus" goo goo g’joob g’goo goo g’joob. Goo goo g’joob g’goo goo g’joob g’goo (y)

You gave me a free trip down memory road of a magical time when Hulk Hogan was only partially bald and had a Saturday morning cartoon (http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-3843/Hulk_Hogans_Rock_N_Wrestling/) show. In that time frame he and his posse(Hillbilly Jim, Capt. Lou Albano, etc) were able to put aside their petty differences with villian greats as Rowdy Roddy Piper, The Shiek, and Vodka Drunkenski long enough to get in the studio and desimate the song in question The Land of 1,000 Dances....Comedy Gold fueled with both machismo and steriods

Damn, that Cab Calloway one is nice.

There's this one with the longest random vocalization I can (barely) remember. It was like...

Bom-bobobom-Da-Dang-dadang-dang-Didip-di-diiii-dip-Ma-mow-Ma-mowmow

And I would repeat it, going on for hours. It drove my family nuts.

Can't remember the song though.

UTFO~ Bite It...At the beginning where it goes nuts speaking some foreign language that noone has the hammurabi's code to understand what is being said

Bad Boys ~ Inspector Gadjet Rap : But I'd fall out of my chair if any of you young bucks have heard that song

Alice Cooper ~ Generation Landslide starts off w/ a LaDa Da DaDagh

Rolling Stones ~ Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo(Hearbreaker)

Chic ~ Dance, Dance, Dance(Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah)

And Snoop Dog wouldn't have a career if Frankie Smith's ~ Double Dutch Bus wouldn't have made it to vinyl

Last night I was in a bar and the barkeep asked me if I would like another round and I responded saying
Iza gazirls yizo hizak mizo izak

I'm not ure this is whlly relevant but I've just copied and pasted the below from an e-mail I sent to my girl a few weeks back when she mentioned that she was listening to 'the boxer' by Paul Simon -

The Boxer is one of my favourites - Paul Simon is one sick Mo'fucking songwriter :-
'In the corner stands a boxer and a fighter by his trade, And he carries the reminders, of every single glove that [something or other, something or other] 'Till he cried out, in his anger and his shame "I am leaving, I am leaving"
BUT THE FIGHTER STILL REMAINS
La la la la la la '
It's the "la la la la's" in that song that carry the weight - it's like when a movie director cuts away from the violence to leave it to your imagination - ridiculously good song-craft.
