That was a joke. In Isreal there are weekly suicide bombings..

That's not true..i mean, there are suicide bombing once in a while (not a week...more like, a few months, which is great)
but this is now we're talking about

2-3 years ago it was crazy!!
every 2 weeks there was an explosion in a bus or in a restaurant

Yah, I exagerated. There have been episodes of daily or weekly bombings if I remember correctly.

Certainly around 2002, it was at least more than once a week for certain periods if I remember right. Couldn't flip on CNN without seeing news of more suicide bombings in Israel.

It's kind of a long story. But around that period (early '02), I was a bit wrapped up in 9/11 and Israel/Palestine stuff. Plus my great aunt died. Also it was the first time I was completely isolated from all my high school friends and I felt so alone in the world and when I turned on the TV (i.e. news) I just got more depressed and other such stuff like that.

Luckily I dragged my ass out of my funk in the latter half of '02 and all got much better. :)

Hehe. The only upside from that time is that I had a lot of opportunities to read books and was able to rip through them pretty fast. That's the only point in which I could actually get through a bunch of books. Normally I'm the slowest reader in the history of the world. :(
