This is me and Toby. He's not facing the camera cuz he's currently trying to beg for food and I'm holding him back.

haha, it's like how humans get red-eye, well, the back of dog's eyes are green or blue, so that's whts reflected back
it's really easy to post up pics, if you have it on your pooter, just go to www.photobucket.com and get an account
Shouldn't reward him for begging - he'll just do it again. :)

Yeah, I know. He's 4 years old and was beaten by the family who used to have him, so we feel bad. Plus, he was relentless with his begging the first month we had him, even when we didn't give him anything. He at least goes away now after he gets what he wants.
We're suckers. :)

Aww! He's cute.
Here's one of my best guy friend's new puppy spaniel:

They might have to get rid of him because he "won't learn" housebreaking, but I really think it's because they're always out of the house and don't train him correctly.

What is wierd about my dog is he is half Golden Lab half Pit Bull, which means a Pit Bull WENT TO TOWN on a Lab. Owch.

Pure breds usually have problems because they're inbred. My friend got a purebred cocker and his heart exploded during his vet's rectal exam, turns out he had a heart condition that was unknown. And my other friend has a purebred sheltie, and she's not expected to live past 2 years because of her severe heart murmur.
Spreading out the gene pool = better

I didnt even see this fellow until the 5th time i read this. such a cute puppy.

Man, I really thought this was a thread about Roots when I first saw it.
His name from the shelter was Carlyle, so we had to train him that his new name was Toby, so for about a week the only thing we'd say is "Your name is TOBY!" :cool:
