Hello People,
I recently watched "What Remains of Us". To be as frank as I can it's the most stunning piece of film I have ever seen to address the issue of an occupied Tibet.
I can not recommend this film enough.Particularily to those of us with a deep fondness and compassionate concern for the people of Tibet.
really,quite breathtaking.
Check it out as you can....http://www.nfb.ca/whatremainsofus/
Godz bless the Canadian film board another fine socialist invention.
Namaste

Thanx much MC Moot!
I, as I'm sure many do, see the Tibetan people as symbolizing one of the last cultures/civilizations holding true to the spirit of free and benign consciousness... alive for the entire world.... Unfortunately, I, as many are, am in somewhat of the same boat... What can I do but hope people get with it... I could start a website and hope information is as close to a cure all as I can... open to contributions to appreciate myself and my life so I can be in better shape to fight the real fight on the real stage when the time comes... but better yet to serve as a catalyst to organizing/ uniting many orgs to fix the problems... have the government serve the people, and not the people serving the government... with the right precidents and science of efficiency in all it's applications... That would be better than having to reenlist in the Army... I don't hate to leave it so short like that. It's just my view. Even when we don't have the right opportunities... I have to assume that we all still have the chance.....

I hear you loud and clear. As a human being having the extreme benefit of being born into a geographical and social locale that provides a rich life from many perspectives (e.g: education, healthcare, freedom of expression ,speech and movement) I find myself compelled to try and share whatever I can to raise awareness. While hopefully fostering thought, compassion ,activism and a positive vibration.
Think globally act locally!
“May I be a protector to those without protection,
A leader for those who journey,
And a boat, a bridge, a passage
For those desiring the further shore.
May the pain of every living creature
Be completely cleared away.
May I be the doctor and the medicine
And may I be the nurse
For all sick beings in the world
Until everyone is healed.
Just like space
And the great elements such as earth,
May I always support the life
Of all the boundless creatures.
And until they pass away from pain
May I also be the source of life
For all the realms of varied beings
That reach unto the ends of space.”
Shantideva as quoted in The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying

Kind kids (y). I realize I'm not in Tibet living under the same... but in the same boat refers to mankind's relative... where our heads are at and why... anyway, the quote was nice to read, thanx for sharing. It's good to be heard. L/C- I was going to say that.
