K-OS, new artist? Far from it. He released his first single in something like 1994 and he was unsigned with hype for a long while.

I dig his music and I think everyone else should. His latest album Joyful Rebellion went Canada-platinum; and he's getting far more recognition than artists that have influenced him (Mos Def, Q-Tip...)

Sorry Slimm, but I'd have to say that K-OS is better lyrically than 50 Cent.
