Check out another example of people blaming somebody/something else for soemthing they THEMSELVES should be responsible for:
"Are Girl Scouts Pushing Junk Food?" (http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/Health/story?id=594333)
I just watched this on TV and was laughing and getting mad at the same time. :D

That's rediculous.
What's next? Giving out celery at Halloween? Tossing bake sales and school fundraisers involving candy bars?
People are overweight because they make bad diet choices. Not because the Girls Scouts made them do it.
Sure, it would be easier if the more fattening options weren't available, but wouldn't everything in life be easier if there we didn't have to make so many choices? Sure. But it would be boring.

Pretty close--in my neighborhood, they bypassed food altogether and gave out rulers.

I love eating out err, cookies. Anyways, a valid point made by the movie "Super Size Me", was that of little kids. They are very impresionable, the same way Tabacco companies cannot advertise to them, unhealthy food distributors can? Just a question I asked myself while watching the movie.

Cause it's about addiction....not just health standards.
the addictive qualities of nicotine are provable and quantifiable...
how do you prove/quantify the addictive levels of junk food?
potato chips do not have the same chemically addictive nature that nicotine does.

Easily. First off Chocolate, why do you think it makes you happy?
Second, you can be addicted to ANYTHING, but that is not what I'm saying. As children you eat this food, especially McDonalds, and it becomes happy food. You go out and eat , you grow up, eating at McDonalds makes you feel good.
Also, are you saying that is tabacco didn't have nicotine it's perfectly find to advertise to minors?
It's more psychological, not biological addiction. Although as you might have seen the guy was severly depressed (from eating so much unhealthy food) and was turned completly around from eating McDonalds again, getting a little sugar high. The body can become dependant in a way of crap.
