I'm like that, I'm kind of anal about my destop being orderly and everything in correct files and all that malarkey. The msn windows drive me mad, I can't work out how you can get them all onto one block on the toolbar. :mad:

i have to have all my icons in 2 colums. and i the folders i create are always in the second column.

the only reason why there are some stuff not in those columns is because im trying to find some good web-photo albums, and i downloaded a bunch of possible things

Yesterday I emptied my whole freaking computer and forgot to save all the favourites I had collected on my firefox. Does anyone know how to get those back?

Today I went to the orchid show and borrowed my friends camera and took over 200 pics :eek: I'm gonna get my own camera next week, but this show is on only until tomorrow and I deffo wanted to take pics there. I need to resize all of them cause they're huge, but I'd already put one of favourites on my desktop.

not to make this a music thread, but what do you think of their solo efforts? I loved Eno's stuff, but Brian Ferry was a bit lacking.

and another thing, have you seen Costello live? I might see him next month with The Imposters, and I was wondering how his live act is these days.

oh dear, this is making me sad. no, i can't go see costello live because i'm stranded in bleeding idaho without transportation (one more month here and im moving back to CA), and i couldnt see him last year because my lady friend's dad was supposed to buy the tickets, and he never did.

as far as roxy solo stuff goes... the thing with Brian Ferry's (who along with costello is my musical idol) solo stuff is he mostly tends to stick to cover songs. Boys and Girls (1985) is a killer album, compared alot to Roxy's Avalon, and his last album, Frantic (2002) is really very good. the song Hiroshima features Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead on guitar, and is fantastic (oh, and the last track is co-written by Eno, who also plays keyboards and does back-up vocals for the track). Bete Noire is another really good album, but the thing with Ferry's solo work is that it's almost in a completely different genre than the music he made with Roxy Music (from 1972-75 at least). Flesh + Blood and Avalon are pretty good indicators of what the solo stuff sounds like... and some of it really is worth getting, but there's also alot of boring stuff in his catalogue, too. anyway blah blah blah

please go to the costello concert if the opportunity presents itself.

oh, and eno's a god.

I'm most likely going to the Costello concert. I missed him when he was supporting When I Was Cruel and again when he was supporting North. that would have been great to see, maybe not so much North, beucase it's not my favorite, but When I Was Cruel was the greatest thing since Brutal Youth. And The Delivery Man is even better.

yeah, i wasnt too broken up about the North tour, because it was just him and Steve Nieve. i love North, as well as the rest of his ballads, but honestly, that's not what i want to hear him playing in concert for an entire set.
