Here you are my new remix... I'm delighted of introduce to you the great Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
It's always an exciting challenge to remix a song that has never been remixed (well, it has been remixed, but only "oficially").
My man the engeneer Yigo did the acapella so it could be "remixeable". I tried to give my best with the instrumental because I wanted to do a serious mix... and this is the result:
Shadrach (Uru-Nitro Remix) (http://www.xente.mundo-r.com/Uru-Nitro/index/Beastie%20Boys%20-%20Shadrach%20(Uru-Nitro%20Remix).mp3)

I have some other mixes I had started waaaaaay back in the days (some of them have more than a year) and I'd like to share them with all you.
so I did like a little free-download Ep/bootleg called SHADRACH 2005: THE PROJECT (http://www.xente.mundo-r.com/Uru-Nitro/index03_page4.htm)

featuring some remixes like:
Rhyme The Rhyme Well (Uru-Nitro Remix) (http://www.xente.mundo-r.com/Uru-Nitro/index/Beastie%20Boys%20-%20Rhyme%20The%20Rhyme%20Well%20(Uru-Nitro%20Remix).mp3)
powerfull beat and bassline. thanks to djzap for the pseudo-acapella

or
Bodisattva Vow (Uru-Nitro Remix) (http://www.xente.mundo-r.com/Uru-Nitro/index/Beastie%20Boys%20-%20Bodhisattva%20Vow%20(Uru-Nitro%20Remix).mp3)
I made it a lot of time ago but I think it's time to share. I made the acapella and music by my own.

check out the page (http://www.xente.mundo-r.com/Uru-Nitro/index03_page4.htm) to get all 7 mixes

please leave your feedbacks about these mixes, specially the shadrach's one.

so take the whole project (http://www.xente.mundo-r.com/Uru-Nitro/index/Shadrach%202005_The%20Project.zip) , burn a cd for the car or share it through the hub world-wide because it's free!

It's all very nice. The Shadrach remix is not what I expected, but I like it. The levels on the Bodisattva Vow mix are really really low, it's hard to hear the vocals. Other than that, excellent. (y)

Shadrach remix- A +
I like the spanish guitar loops, the whayling voices and the BIG BOOMIN BEATS. Very very good. Hopefully the BBs will hear this one.

Sometimes I rhyme: vocals a lil muffled but nicely crafted. funky but not as strong as the Shadrach one.

Bodhisattva: I feel if I play this one backwards I will hear some santanic messages.

hey thanks for the comments guys!

actually it's not a spanish guitar, it's a greek bouzouki (hehe, very similar to a spanish guitar)

and coupedeville, the links are working for me. if you can't get some file let me know and i'll try to email you.

There's... something about your Rhyme the Rhyme Well remix that is very familiar...

Like... something Nintendo-ee!

I swear it's like the Super Mario when-he's-climbing-a-vine-or-in-the-clouds theme in there...

Uro Nitro, I salute you, this is brilliant sh*t. I love it all, as Vladimir said, the lyrics on Bodhisattva Vow are to low and hard to hear, and the chorus of Open Letter to NYC sounds out of place, not going with the beat. Open Letter I found very powerful with the guitar or whatever it is, gives it a really sad sound and with the news reports when the twin towers were struck makes it even more moving, I think it is gr8. I can't wait for your next project.

Yo Uru, this is some good shit! (y)
The instrument fits the rhymes very good and the song is very well arranged.
Makes me wanna go and make remixes again too :D

I like the Rhyme the Rhyme Well mix, the other two i'm not too sure.
The guitar loop you used in Shadrach is nice, but it got very repetitive for me...needed to rest for parts me reckon and also needs to be put behind the vocals a touch.

Someone provide me with the Rhyme the Rhyme Well acappella so i can splash on some beats ;)

I downloaded this a while ago and finally had time to listen to it all in one listening. The Rhyme the Rhyme well remix was very well done, the Shadrach was fresh. Open Letter, I didn't really like too much though. I agree with Vladimir about Bodisattva Vow, just raise the vocals up a pinch. Nice job Uru, its been a while.
