Loathe the Catholic church or not, he was a pretty outstanding pope... (In that he didn't start too many wars against heresey or the infidels, sleep with his sister, poison Florentine high society, etc, etc)

Sometimes I wish I was older. As for the pope, I doubt he wishes the same. Shivago pool closed (obviously) Pope pool open! 50$ a piece. And yes there will be a "taken away in a chariot of fire" square.

Your brain stopped in the medieval or something? Our religion isn't based on a king's divorce or German laziness, at least :p

I have never paid much attention to the pope but have heard many critics say he would have fit in real well in the 12th century.
May he rest in peace.
