okay, so back in '99 not long after my grandmother from my mom's side died, I put my basic computer skills together and built and affordable computer for my grandpa to use and packaged it with a FujiFilm DX-10 digital camera. It took a little for him to get used to it, but he did and flurished. Ever since he has used the interenet as a tool to further explore NASA pictures, and read up on the battle of creationism and a progressive development of the world (he is 82 this year, so I am very impressed with his ability to learn and keep going). He also enjoys toying with the Adobe Photodeluxe software that came with it (since then, he's already bought an newer camera and computer). Which brings me to this picture he sent in e-mail the other day and I thought I would share it with you all! warning --- it is a little scary, even for me (nothing too bad, just scary)

he's also done other things like manipulating piles of South Dakota snow he's dug up and make it look like little hills. I'm pretty proud of my grandpa!!
